We're excited to help you earn NABCEP Certification with Waivolt. This documentation is everything you need to know to start using Waivolt.

Take a free NABCEP PV Practice Exam
[Select the options for your practice exam]In order to take a free practice exam for the NABCEP PV Associate Exam or the NABCEP PV Installation Professional Exam, you will first need to sign up for an account. Once signed up, choose the exam you'd like to create: • NABCEP PV Associate Practice Exam • NABCEP PV Installation Professional Practice Exam [Click New Practice Exam] Once you choose the exam, you can then select some options which will determine how the practice exam will be set up for you. If you have a free account, you'll only have the default options of a 35-question practice exam using random questions from the free question bank across all JTA domains. Just click the green "Create Practice Exam" button and you can start your exam. Keep in mind that you can pause the exam and resume it at any time. You can also retake the exam as many times as you want or build a new one, but you will be limited to the free question bank and basic exam options. Extra Options for Waivolt ProIf you have a Waivolt Pro account, you can choose from either a 20-question, 35-question, 50-question or 70-question practice exam. You can also choose from either: • Random selection picks a random set of questions from our full question bank with hundreds of practice questions. • Match live exam frequency Uses the appropriate Job Task Analysis to determine the percentages of questions from our question bank based on the frequency those types of questions appear on the live exam. • Analyze past practice exam scores Uses our AI engine to analyze your past practice exams and pick exam questions just for you to help you focus on areas where you need more practice. Optionally narrow JTA domains: Waivolt Pro members can also optionally select specific JTA domains they want the exam to focus on.
Chat with your personal solar certification exam tutor
Waivolt Pro members have access to Wai Chat an AI with expertise on the technical aspects of solar, NABCEP Job Task Analyses, the National Electric Code, and exam-taking strategies. [Click new chat to get started] Choose the certification you'd like help with. This will make sure that Wai (our AI) has the proper context about your exam and job task analysis. [Choose the certification] Start chatting with the AI. You can choose from one of our preset question prompts, or type your own question into the box and click "send message". Wai will respond and you can continue chatting as long as you want. [Type your question and click 'send message'] If you want to start a brand new chat, just click the "chats" link in the top bar and create a new one. You can optionally edit the names of your chats to keep them organized and find them later.
How to update the email address in your profile
There are two main steps that need to be completed in order to update your email address: 1. Set a new email address in your profile 2. Confirm your new email address Step 1: Set a new email address: Log into your account then select "profile" from the drop-down menu in the upper right-hand corner under your profile picture. [Select "Profile" from the navigation] Then from the profile page, enter your new email address in the "Email" field and click the "Update" button. [Enter a new email address and click Update] Step 2: Confirm your new email address The system will send a confirmation email to your new email address. You must open this email and click the "confirm" link in order to start using the new email address. Until you confirm the new address your old address will continue to be used for all communication and to log into your account.
User permissions options for your team account
There are two permission levels available for users added to your team account: Admin Users and Member Users. Admin Users Can manage your team account including: • Edit the team account name • Edit the team account profile picture • Invite users to the account • Delete invited users • Change permissions for invited users • View the billing portal • Edit the payment method • Cancel the account Member Users Admin users also have access to all member user functionality. • Access all Pro features under the Team Account
Invite and manage users for your team account
After signing up for a team account, you can invite users to that account through your "Accounts" dashboard. To access the Accounts dashboard, click on your team name in the dropdown menu in the upper right-hand corner under your profile picture: [Click on your team name from the dropdown] From the Account detail page, you can see and edit the team name for the account and the account avatar image. You will also see all users who have access to your business account. You can also edit the users here to change their account permissions or to delete the user. To add a new user click the "Invite A User" button from the Account detail page. [Click Invite a User] Fill out the new user form with the user's name and email address as well as the permissions role (admin or member) they should have. For more information on permissions view this article. [Fill in User Invitation Details] Click the "Send invitation" button to submit the form. The user will then receive an invitation via email with a link to sign up. They will automatically be added to the team account as a user during signup.
