The site is open to all solar professionals, regardless of race, color, national origin, religion, gender, age, disability, or skill level that agree to follow the code of conduct and student honor system.

I've been working in renewable energy training for the building trades since 2006 and have developed training and training software for tens of thousands of solar PV professionals and solar companies. In 2024 I created Waivolt, an Oregon benefit company, to help solar professionals get NABCEP Certified.

Now more than ever, the world is in need of solar professionals. The recent passage of the Inflation Reduction Act has paved the way for hundreds of billions of dollars of investment in solar. Millions of professionals will be required to do the job that could literally affect the future of the human species, are you up for it?

Waivolt is an open startup which is employee owned and operated. No investors. No Bullshit.

We operate with full transparency and share our key metrics like revenue and expenses. We are an Oregon benefit company and operate on a triple bottom line accounting system of people, planet and profit. We will never take money from investors or sell your private information.

All students must read and agree to our code of conduct and student honor system, as well as agree to follow any applicable professional standards of conduct such as the NABCEP code of ethics.

Our instructors are IREC Certified Master Trainers and have signed and pledged to follow the IREC code of ethics. They are also NABCEP Certified PV Installation Professionals and follow the NABCEP code of ethics.

Passion is critical in a good life and good work. It's incredibly rewarding to work for something positive. The challenge can be scary and sometimes overwhelming but knowing we are working together and supporting each other gives us strength.
